Who am I?

My name is Isabel Davies and I am a qualified Relationship Counsellor working part time for Relate in Cardiff. I also see couples and individuals privately in Cardiff city centre.
I am in my final year of training as a Gestalt therapist, on the post graduate diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy run by the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership Cardiff. As a trainee I provide a lower cost therapy service to individuals in Cardiff.

I am committed to providing couple counselling and individual therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

Couple Counselling

Couple Counselling is for couples who are experiencieng difficulties with their relationship whether married, living together, or apart.

There are many different reasons couples come for couple counselling.
Changes can occur during your time together which can bring up feelings of anxiety, vulnerablity and uncertainty of your future together. Couple Counselling provides a confidential and supportive place in which to discuss these issues.

Individual Psychotherapy

There are times in your life when you feel you need to speak to someone outside your family or friendship circle. You may be experiencing a particularly stressful time, or you may not be aware of the reasons you are feeling unhappy and dissatisfied with your life.

The style of psychotherapy I work within is Gestalt, the emphasis is on the present moment. However past experiences can also be brought, particularly when you feel these experiences affect you now preventing you from being the person you want to be.

How much will it cost?

£45 per session for couple counselling

£30 for individual Gestalt therapy.

Reduced fees can be negotiable if on a low income.
